There is no logic for driving under the influence (DUI) when all it does is endanger other road users. There are so many ways that a person can have fun without having to do this.
It is becoming part of society's nature to keep a look out for people who drive while under the influence and so more and more people will not go unnoticed. It is clear that people will pay the penalty for driving while under the influence. Each state has its own laws, and so if you are caught driving while under the influence you could pay a hefty fine or even go to jail.
These are the consequences that you will have to face. In this regards it makes no sense then that you would even attempt driving while under the influence, as it is not beneficial. You will have to think about all the things that you can lose if you are caught driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol (DUI).
You could easily lose your job if you are sentenced to jail time. This could have an impact on your family, especially in the case whereby you are the sole provider. Even if you don't end up in jail you might have to pay a fine and this means finding money, which you might not otherwise have. All in all it seems to be a waste of your precious time and money.
The problem with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI) is that more social resources are being drained. It is not only the high incidents of accidents that can be caused which can lead to high medical bills, but the fact that the police officers have to spend time keeping an eye on the individuals who dare try their luck with driving drunk.
This can easily spread the police department very thin and in doing so make other important crimes go unchecked. It is hard enough trying to keep a lid on the crime without adding the unnecessary tab of chasing down drunk drivers.
It would bode well with society if individuals would be more responsible. This means that they should not attempt to drive when intoxicated. When having a night out why risk it ending with the bitter chance of an accident or possibly prison? Remember, driving while under the influence (DUI) is not going to be taken lightly. So it makes no sense why you should even attempt the risk.
It is hard enough to try and keep your eyes on the road without having to worry that some crazed driver is going to drive into you. People have other responsibilities, which they need to attend to, and that alone can take away their concentration. Being kind to your fellow road users can ensure that less and less accidents are caused, especially by those who blatantly attempt driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
