If you have denied BP claims, by all means please do not think this issue is over with. In almost every instance that a claim was rejected if it was not a fraudulent claim, it still can be resubmitted and ultimately collected on. The number one reason that most claims are not approved is because of poor paperwork.
BP claims denied can and are still being accepted by this mega sized oil company. All of these claims that are coming in are in response to the oil spill that occurred in the Gulf of Mexico. We have to warn you though, just getting your claim accepted and approved is only half the battle, because you then have to settle with the company, and that is not very easy.
If your once denied BP claims, are later accepted and approved, please do not think that the very next day you just walk in and pickup a check for the full amount of your losses. Of course, that is the way it should work, and the way everybody associated with this tragedy wants it to work, but in reality, that is not the way it works.
What happens next is the negotiation process begins, and if you thought dealing with a used car salesperson was a nightmare, you have not seen anything. BP is in the business of making money, and they are not in the business of paying out claims.
This company is one of the largest firms in the world, and they did not grow so large, because they just throw away money. In fact, the complete opposite is true, and they are very prudent with their funds. This is exactly why when your once denied BP claims are finally approved, you will next get an offer for far less that the amount on your claim.
They are hoping that you are so desperate for cash, that you will take their money quickly, and drop all your rights to everything else that is owed to you. If you do not accept their initial offer, in all likelihood you will not hear from them for a while. This is called their "Stalling Mode", and it is meant to put the pressure on you, and hopefully force you to take a low ball offer.
If you hold out for a while, they might come back with a little better proposal, but it still will not be anywhere close to the amount on your claim. If all of this sounds familiar, then you might want to think about contacting some of the expert negotiators that are now working in this area.
If you are one of those that has had your once denied BP claims later approved, but still have not been offered anywhere close to what it is worth. Then you should strongly consider getting some people on your side that know how to make BP payout what they are supposed to, instead of just letting them mess around with you for a while.
