Although many people that live in this region of the country have come to believe that the Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF) only denies BP claims, which that is not entirely true. While it is extremely difficult to get one approved and then eventually paid, it does happen.

The oil spill that occurred in the Gulf of Mexico when one of BP's oil wells exploded was not only a tremendous environmental catastrophe; it was also a financial disaster for many of the area's residents. BP is one of the largest oil companies in the world today, and they have both a terrible safety and ecological record.

Only a few short years ago, one of their oil processing plants in Texas caught fire, and killed quite a few of their employees. You would have thought that they would have learned their lesson after that mishap, and would do everything in their power to ensure that no more of their personnel were ever killed while working for them.

Many of the experts that have studied BP's Gulf oil spill believe if they had bought more expensive equipment that was better suited for the type of drilling they were doing, that their workers that were killed when the rig caught fire, would still be alive today.

However, unfortunately that was not the case, and BP continues down the same path as they always have. The company spends less on maintenance and equipment by a wid
e margin when compared to all the other major oil companies in the world. Of course, they do this for one reason and one reason only; they believe they are able to make more money by operating in this fashion.

But, if their executives took time to examine the facts and figures, they could easily determine that oil giants like Mobil are able to do quite nicely, while still protecting their employee's health and the local environments.

If you, a friend, or an associate has submitted a BP claim to the Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF), and it was denied, it still can be resubmitted and eventually paid out on. Most of the claims that are rejected by this organization are because of unfinished or inaccurate paperwork.

The Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF) does require a substantial amount of documentation for the funds to be released. But, they do have a few very good reasons for operating this way. First, they are in charge of $20 billion dollars, that quite a few people are trying to get their hands on. Second, there have been many fraudulent claims filed, that were only discovered by thoroughly reviewing the documentation.

If your BP claim has been repeatedly denied by the Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF), more than likely you will require a specialist to assist you with the filling out of your paperwork. Once the process is completed to BP's satisfaction, they are legally bound to pay you the amount submitted on your claim, if they do not dispute anything.
